CURBSIDE DINING WITH LA'S FOOD TRUCKS...

On any given day or night, brightly colored food trucks of all kinds can be spotted in and around Los Angeles. These trucks, stocked and ready to go during lunch and dinner hours offer some of the tastiest food around.

Although they have been trending recently, food trucks have been around for years . Starting in the early 1900's as a means for workers to have meals quick and conveniently because the "restaurant" could roll right up the work site.

In those early days the food "carts" provided cheap meals using simple ingredients. Over the years things have changed drastically. Currently, the trucks that roam Los Angeles offer some of the some of the best ingredients available and usually specialize in a particular dish. From cupcakes to sushi and everywhere in between, it is available.

Over the past 4 years the food truck business has grown at a steady pace, carving out a niche business that for now is holding its own in the highly competitive market. Restuarants and catering companies alike have also diversified there menus and taken them to the road.

At Good Gracious! Events we have collaborated with some of Los Angeles' most popular trucks adding a unique touch to an event. Depending on the theme of the event, these trucks are able to roll in and handle food for hundreds of guests. What a way to add a different dimension and compliment the your own individual style.

All of the trucks are rolling advertisements on there own, but most take advantage of social media like Twitter and Facebook to keep the public informed. If you haven't dined curbside in LA...treat yourself next time you see one of the many food trucks this city has to offer.
