We had the pleasure of being part of the popup "Mermaid Museum" at Goya Studios in Los Angeles and we are so happy it was covered by BizBash! Keep reading for all of the details.

"To celebrate the premiere of its new drama about somewhat scary mermaids called Siren, Freeform teamed up with lifestyle media company Popsugar to create an immersive “Mermaid Museum.”

Open to the public from March 22 to 25, the free ticketed event, held at the new Goya Studios in Los Angeles, explored the mythological creatures with multi-sensory experiences, including a live mermaid, a recreation of a fishing shop from the television series, photo setups, and a ball pit room. Popsugar's experiential marketing manager Kaitlyn Viola tasked April Luca and Los Angeles-based event agency Gold Sky Productions with producing the underwater world.

“The idea for all of the activations and decor came from the creative team imagining what we would do all day if we were mermaids,” Luca joked.

Throughout the five-day pop-up event, the museum saw more than 4,600 attendees, including celebrity guests such as Lauren Bushnell, Ashley Greene, Brandi Cyrus, and Nastia Liukin." - via BizBash

Struggling to make a decision about party rentals for your event? Pauline has ten tips that will help you make the best choice! Read below.

1. Party rentals are needed when you book a space that has no equipment and everything has to be brought in including heaters, lighting, field kitchen etc. When doing a wedding in such a space I would recommend a planner!
2. Rentals will be a significant part of your budget. When getting estimates start with the basics of patterns to determine your prices. You can then upgrade accordingly.
4. When renting your glassware, china and flatware always allow for extra as there usually are no washing facilities at these venues to recycle product.
5. A standard guest place setting has about 12 rental items.
6. Choose a reputable rental company that gives you a good selection of product, maintains there equipment, offers good service and has a person available to you at all times outside of office hours.
7. Avoid using multiple rental companies. Deliveries and pickups of product to the right source could be a horrible experience as well as congest the in and out of vehicles at a venue.
8. When ordering a “timed” delivery and/or Pick up, or it is a Sunday or late night you will incur extra charge fees. So see if you can have some flexibility of times.
9. Your rental company will inspect your wedding space and make recommendations of layout and flow. . They will also give you a diagram of floor plan. This will help you visualize the space with product.
10. You might need permits when tenting at a private home or location. Your rental company will help you with these services.

A lush green lawn, pale pink tables, and the dim flicker of soft candlelight on a summer evening at dusk - this sweetly sophisticated wedding reception was a summertime dream and we were so excited to play a part in the big day! The team at Good Gracious! Events provided beautiful bites, dainty desserts, and every culinary creation in between at the pastel pink garden party of a wedding and we are thrilled to share it with you. Our friends at California Wedding Day loved the sophisticated summer celebration just as we did, and recently included us in a fantastic feature. To see an excerpt from the feature and get a glimpse of the beautiful day, keep scrolling!

Excitement was buzzing and guests were laughing along as they filtered into the pink-filled, sophisticated reception space, ready to celebrate the beautiful wedding ceremony they attended just moments before. Met with a crisp beverage on a warm summer’s eve, adults chose between vodka and tonic with lemon and lime slices, or a sweet rose wine to sip throughout the celebration. Signature dishes such as macaroni and cheese cups, artichoke crowns, chicken parmesan tacos, and Yukon Gold Potato Bacon Jam Towers were passed around, and guests were grabbing to get the tasty bites!

After taking a seat at the stunning table spread, guests were served fresh summer salads followed by a main course that stole the show. From Crispy Grilled Branzino, to Grilled Flat Iron Hunter’s Steak, Yellow Corn and Zucchini Lasagne, to Lobster Mac and Cheese, the entrees were versatile and vibrant, each one a culinary masterpiece.

After a festive evening of drinks, dining, and dancing, family and friends were invited to end the evening on a sweet note with a trip to the delightful dessert bar. From zesty lemon crunch bars, to s’mores donuts, dark chocolate mint ganache truffle to classic vanilla macarons, the all-white sweet spread was the hit of the night, and no guest left without getting their sweet fix!

Pink and white and sweetly sophisticated in every way, we loved being a part of this summertime wedding celebration! To see all the details of the day, keep scrolling!

Located in the heart of Santa Ynez, surrounded by vineyard view and lush greenery, you’ll discover the stunning Sunstone Winery. With Sunstone’s lush greenery, natural charm and effortless charm, it’s clear why we were thrilled we were able to provide catering for this wedding!

The bride and groom exchanged vows in front of their closest friends and family beneath two grand trees with the rolling vineyards as a breathtaking backdrop. The bride looked stunning with loose curls wearing an elegant fitted textured white gown while her groom looked sharp in a navy blue suit paired with a blue bowtie.

Following the fabulous reception, guests were invited to the front of the villa where they were treated to a selection of our tray passed hors d'oeuvres and our unique 8ft antipasto table. Plush creamed colored lounge furniture and round tables paired with vineyard chairs were placed throughout the space so guests could comfortably enjoy our delicious appetizers.

The reception that followed was a complete transformation of the space. Long family style tables were topped with a green garland with touches of white florals. Our perfectly prepared dinner was served on transparent gold-rimmed chargers with brushed gold flatware. Guests enjoyed our three-course meal as the sun went down.

Thank you to the entire creative team for making this spectacular day come to life and congrats to the newlyweds! Special thank you to Brandon Kidd Photography for expertly capturing the details of the day!
